Golden Showers Week 3 Recap

Week 3 Recap

Matt H (3-0) vs Mike (0-3)

This matchup was against two teams going into two different directions. The projected score for both teams had about a twenty point difference. Matt started out the day with disappointments. Three of his top point scorers, Jeremy Hill, Jonathan Stewart, and Ben Roethlisberger, were disgustingly below their projected point total; only getting 14 points out of a projected 46.25 points. Mike on the other hand did better, but not much. Finally his number one pick and QB Andrew Luck showed up, kinda. He still scored under his projection but nearly hit the 20 point mark, by far his best game of the year. Brandin Cooks went over his projection for the first time this season for Mike! Not sure if it was because of stellar back QB play or because Yahoo! has been lowering it since Week 1. Mike saw one other player go above and beyond for him, his Defense. 7 of 9 players were under again for Mike. Calvin Johnson gave him a shot on Sunday Night but wasn’t enough since Matt had Travis Kelce going Monday night tacking on an unnecessary 16 point Matt did not need for victory. Matt did win by a mediocre 114.58 - 92.50.

AJ (1-2) vs Chris (0-3)

Here was two teams trending in the same direction. In a battle of two 0-2 teams this became a must win. Going 0-3 with the Dice of Doom looming is not a good thing. Chris had a great Sunday! Two of his top scores were ironically playing each other, Ryan Tannehill went over his projections by getting over 18 points all while playing his own starting Defense in Buffalo, who also exceeded the projection scoring 15 points. Chris had league high kicker in Stephen Gostkowski, 17 points, and league high Tight End Greg Olsen, who did his own version of beast mode and got 33.40 points. All but two of the starters scored in double digits for Chris and he had victory in his sights. There was just one problem. AJ set the lineup of his life. Even though he did have three players combine for 12 points he did have five to go for over 20. Led by Joseph Randle who went crazy for 3 TDs and 30 points and Rishard Matthews who got 2 TDs and 29.30 points. This match came down to Monday Night though. AJ had a slight lead but each had studs going; Eddie Lacy for Chris and Aaron Rodgers for AJ. Rodgers threw for 5 TDs and because of that there was nothing left for Lacy at the end of the game. AJ wins the blowout of the week 165.82 - 138.38.

Matt M (3-0) vs Gino (2-1)

Once again Gino and his auto drafted team had a great week. Cam Newton went for three total TDs and 29.90 points, 10 over his projected. Gino had two receivers get over 20 points also, Brandon Marshall and Demaryius Thomas. A total of six players went over the projected points. Gino was let down by both of his RBs though both gaining less then their projections. Matt’s Sunday started out rough. He had to scramble to get a back up QB after Drew Brees was announced out  for his game. He signed Teddy Bridgewater who had a pathetic day only getting 3.74 points. Zach Ertz and LeSean McCoy were also a no shows for Matt only getting half of their projections. There was a welcome back party for Keenan Allen though, 12 receptions, 133 yards and 2 TDs equaled 37.30. It makes you wonder if Matt is ready for this roller coaster ride Allen is going to take him on. Devonta Freeman probably had the best game of his life 3 TDs and 193 total yards, 42.30 points. I’m not sure if Matt is lucky or good five of his nine starters were in single digits. Gino had a commanding 47 point lead going into Monday Night and Matt only had two players left. Unfortunately they were Randall Cobb and Jamaal Charles. Both of these men combined for 6 TDs and 66.50 points. All Gino could do was watch his insurmountable lead slowly vanish. Matt wins the Monday Night miracle 174.44 - 155.20.

Julian (2-1) vs Josh (1-2)

Once again Josh was the favorite in what turned out to be the closest match up of the week. Josh decided it was time for a change at QB and brought in the old vet Carson Palmer. It turned out to be the right choice nearly getting 20 points and out scoring the freshly benched Sam Bradford by 11 points. Josh's leading point scorer turned out to be another old guy in Frank Gore which probably confused him by thinking it was 2008. Josh had five players not only get under their projected totals by fail to score double digits. Julian, however, saw six of his guys in double digits, but only three get over their projections. Julian’s whole day was back and forth he saw good in Amari Cooper, 19.40 points, and bad in Justin Forsett, 6.90. Or the really bad in Tyler Eifert throw up a goose egg, 0.00, and then the really good in the Arizona defense, 28.00 points. Like I said this was a close match, some may say it was the Arizona defense that won the game, but it really came down to Monday Night and Josh deciding to not start Jeremy Maclin who had 28.10 points on the bench. Julian was able to hold on and win 116.30 - 103.34.

 Reuben (2-1) vs Rico (1-2)

In this week’s highest scoring match up the spread was less then 1 point and the over and under was 254 points. Rico came out strong with his usual Patriot connection, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman combined for 39.22 points. Julio Jones added another 40 points and Rico’s high scoring team was off and running. Reuben’s day was led by two receivers from the same game, AJ Green and Steve Smith Sr. combined for 23 catches, 413 yards, 4 TDs, and 88.30 points. Le’Veon Bell made his return by earning a modest 26.2 points. Rico came back though, in the afternoon games Larry Fitzgerald and Jimmy Graham with had great game combining for 55.70 points. Rico took a lead going into the Sunday Night game. HIs Denver defense out did themselves again by doubling their projected total. But bad news for Rico, Reuben had four players left and three of them were going Sunday Night. Reuben had his own Bronco connection going with Peyton Manning and Emmanuel Sanders bringing in 34.56 points and also Ameer Abdullah adding another 12 points to get Reuben a lead with Rico all out of players. Reuben tacked on 9 more point from his kicker Mason Crosby. I hope everyone took the over in this game because 348 points were scored nearly a 100 point over the projection. Reuben wins a thriller 187.76 - 160.42.

Week 2 Recap

Week 2 is complete! We are starting to see some separation but it is still early and no one is out of it yet.

The winner of the weekly contest of most combined receiving and rushing yards by a starter was me! Antonio Brown had 195 total yards.
Second was Adrian Peterson with 192 total yards owned by Matt H. Third was Odell Beckham Jr with 146 total yards owned by AJ.
But of course if you're not first you're last.

Here is the weekly recap for Week 2

Rico vs AJ

What a week AJ had! AJ had three players go over 20 points plus another 15 by his kicker. His top scorer, Beckham Jr, had a career day in yards. Aaron Rodgers exceeded expectations and he even got a dominate performance out of the flex spot with Eric Decker. Unfortunately he was let down by both his RBs combining for 11 points, his 2nd receiver who only got half his projected points, and a shocker to the whole league his defense scored -1 point going against the Raiders. Anyone could have made that mistake.  But none of that really mattered because Rico’s team went insane this week. Rico had five players over 20 points two over 30. His top scorer Larry Fitzgerald, who was a late add to the lineup, was pushing 40. This might be the team to beat. Even the low point getters could still score big when their respective teams have good days.  Rico went 60 points over his projected points for the week. AJ takes the tough loss. Rico wins 182.54 – 133.46.

Julian vs Reuben

In this week’s closet contest. Reuben started hot on Thursday night with a Bronco stack of Peyton Manning and Emmanuel Sanders combining for 50 points. Sunday Reuben gambled on the Cowboys pass catchers which also paid off for him with an additional 31 points. AJ Green and Shane Vereen also had respectable days, but it was Ameer Abdullah who let him down by only getting 2.80 points. Led by Gronk and Amari Cooper Julian came storming back. Julian’s defense doubled their projected total which set up for a Sunday night show down. Reuben had a slight lead with his kicker Mason Crosby still to go. Julian had Russell Wilson and a not so favorable matchup. Crosby doubles his point projection getting 16 late points for Reuben. But Russell Wilson, who even tried to blow it for Julian by throwing a pick in the 4th quarter, finished with 23 points. Julian squeaks by 136.44 – 134.74.

Gino vs Josh

What a week Josh had, but of the pathetic nature. Other than Antonio Brown who got 36.5 points, everyone else was average to disappointing. Seven player did not even get their projected totals. Let’s talk about his bench where 33.5 points were just sitting in the form of Allen Robinson. Josh probably should have put in his backup QB who had 9 more point then his starter, which was all the points Sam Bradford had.  On the other side Gino had 6 players over their projected totals. With a big game from Torrey Smith, some may call it garbage time score but not me, added 26 points. Even as bad a Josh was this week he had a small lead going into Monday night. But Gino was just toying with him because he unleashed Brandon Marshall who had 7 catches 101 yards and a TD which equals to 23.10 point to crush Josh’s hope and dream for this week. Gino wins 135.02 – 119.56.

Matt M vs Mike

This was a very competitive game. Both Mike and Matt saw high scores in some players but had huge let downs in others. Mike had the highest scorer in the matchup getting 24.3 points from Calvin Johnson and also adding 14 points from his TE Kyle Rudolph. That’s where the good news ended Mike had big letdowns by both RBs, his flex spot, and the St. Louis defense. Matt saw a little success as well. On Thursday night Jamaal Charles had a good game which should have been better if not for the 2 turnovers. Vincent Jackson, Randall Cobb, and the New England defense all were in double digits. Matt did see his top scorer from last week Keenan Allen (31.6 points) come crashing back down to Earth in flames and fire and death by scoring 1.6 points, 30 points less.  Matt had a 20 point lead going into Monday night. Not a huge deficit to overcome especially when you have Andrew Luck, who was projected for 20 points. Once again Mike was let down by his top pick and saw Luck give up 4 turnovers to fall short. Matt wins 100.70 – 90.30.

Matt H vs Chris

This was the Feeble Bowl. It was definitely the lowest scoring contest in the young season. Chris had three players score less than 1 point. To be fair most of his problems were injury related. Chris did have the top performer in the match; Colin Kaepernick had a great day with 26.5 points. Chris’s kicker Stephen Gostkowski threw in 19 points of his own. Matt also had injury problems with Tony Romo leaving with a broken whatever (he’s gone).  Matt saw his top scorers, Jordan Matthews and Adrian Peterson, have good days with 20 and 19 points respectively. But this came down to the Sunday night football game. Matt had a 2 point lead with only the Seattle defense left and Chris had his top pick Eddie Lacy. Chris had a win in his sights. Every carry would bring him closer to Matt and ever score would pull Matt’s totals down…but nope Lacy went down early. He was one of Chris players to score under 1 point, but the top scorer of those three with 0.9 points. Matt wins a nail biter 87.30 – 82.00.

Week 1 Golden Showers Fantasy Football League

Weekly recap

Gino vs Julian

Julian started out hot with Gronk giving him a nice cushion and then Chris Ivory continued to put up the points for Julian on Sunday morning. After that it was all Gino. Lead by Matt Forte Gino's whole line up was in double digits. Then come Monday night Matt Ryan helped Gino get the lead he would not give up. Good thing Gino drafted this team, he wins a close one 132.62 - 126.44.

Matt H vs Rico

Rico jumped out to a huge lead on Thursday night with the Patriot combo of Brady and Edelman. It looked like a runaway. Then team R. Kelly got into action. DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce, from the same game, just went off combining for 15 catches, 204 yards, 4 TDs, and one 2 pt conversation. Matt had 7 players at or near 20 points. Rico attempted a comeback with Julio Jones scoring 35 points but the deficit was just too much. Matt won 181.34 - 163.02. Rico would have beaten every other team.

Josh vs Mike

Josh jumped out to a quick Thursday night lead with Antonio Brown getting close to 30 points and Heath Miller adding 15 of his own. Sunday and Monday had a nice complimentary WR and RB duo with Jarvis Landry and DeMarco Murray. Unfortunately for Mike his team really never got going. Mike's top pick Andrew Luck had an underwhelming debut. Nearly everyone on Mike's lineup underperformed. The lone bright spot was TE Jordan Reed who scored over double his projected points. Josh seemed to have got lucky this week. Let's all hope the good fortunes stays with him all season long. Josh wins 139.14 - 94.32.

Matt M vs Chris

What a tough day for Chris in his fantasy day. One of his top picks, Mike Evans, was ruled out right before kick off and had to scramble to change his roster. Chris's RBs did ok hitting their projections but everyone else did not come close. It seemed like he transferred all of his skill and luck in fantasy football and put it into his St. Louis Rams so they could squeak out a win. For his sake I hope he and the Rams didn't lose all the luck for the rest of the season. Matt played his first week ever in fantasy football and talk about beginners luck. I mean how else did he know Keenan Allen would blow up like that. Matt must have been so confident in winning he told his kicker to take the day off and got no points from him and still won by 30. Better luck next time Chris. Matt wins 124.30 - 93.84.

Reuben vs AJ

In maybe the most even matchup of the week AJ and Reuben went toe to toe. Both sides had big scorers AJ with Aaron Rodger and Reuben with Jason Witten. And both had players that let them down. Reuben saw his personal hero Peyton Manning forget how to quarterback and his rookie RB not quite ready for the spotlight. The WR combo of OBJ and Andre Johnson did nothing for AJ to help his cause both only getting half of their projected total. The one main discrepancy was the Carolina defense that Reuben rolled out their which out scored AJ's D by 19 points. Reuben won 116.10 - 102.86.

2015 NFL Predictions

Opening night eve for the NFL season. What a wonderful time of year! I have come back to again give my opinion on how this season is going to turn out. And, by the way, I don't like to brag but I'm pretty good at this. Except for last year. I was way off for the playoffs. I'm sure that was a fluke and I will be right on this year. Ok here we go!

AFC:

NORTH
  1. Steelers - The Steelers are in a strange time. Big Ben, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell will lead their high scoring offense. While the usually stout defense is in rebuild mode. But there is a great chance this defense can get it together to win the division. The offense will carry the defense to a division title.
  2. Bengals - I think if we have learned one thing from the Bengals it’s that they are a great regular team. The offense will score points and the defense will get the big stops to win football games. This is a good football team but not a great one. That can’t contend with the elite teams of the league.
  3. Ravens - They seem like the boring team for this year. It’s you get what you see. Yeah they will win games but so what. I’m not really inspired by this team. Steve Smith Sr. already announced his retirement tour so there is that. The defense will be good and Terrell Suggs will get a lot of personal foul penalties and possibly fines. We better keep our eye out for that.
  4. Browns - Lets see there will be a good defense here that will keep the Browns in the game. A really good offensive line to give the RBs and QB a chance. I just don’t see any playmakers in their skill positions. Their best offensive weapon is a rookie RB with a concussion. Get well soon Duke Johnson Jr.
SOUTH

  1. Colts - Andrew Luck is great and will probably win the MVP this year. The got future Hall of Fame RB Frank Gore to finally give them a running game. So now I think they are unstoppable on offense. The defense will be a good one for the Colts. With a weak division they should cruise.
  2. Texans - Man, this was a fun team to watch on Hard Knocks this year. J.J. Watt is a beast and can do anything. DeAndre Hopkins will lead a young offense into the season while the team waits for Arian Foster to return from injury. This defense will get a lot of sack, but I’m not sure if the secondary will be able to stop the opposing teams passing game.
  3. Jaguars - The Jaguars are building a solid foundation on offense through the draft. Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, and T.J. Yeldon are up and coming stars on the offense. The defense will surprise a lot of people. They are big, they are fast, and they can tackle. They will no longer be the laughing stock of the NFL.
  4. Titans - Marcus Mariota is a great talent. I hope the Titans don’t waste it. I don’t think there is enough help for Mariota this year to contend. The defense isn't the greatest either. There are going to be a lot of tough weeks, but Mariota should make it a little exciting.

EAST

  1. Patriots - The Patriots still own this division, for at least one more year. I feel Tom Brady and company are going to be in a straight screw you mode to the NFL and try to blow people out. I don’t think the defense gets enough credit. They did lose both of their corners but some how they always find a way to win.
  2. Dolphins - If any team can dethrone the champs it will be the Dolphins. This team led by their QB Ryan Tannehill are ready to take the next step. With an underrated RB, Lamar Miller, two wide receiver from the last two drafts, and Jordan Cameron from free agency. Ndamukong Suh was the big signing to fill any gaps the strong defense may have had.
  3. Bills - The Bills once again will have a good defense but that is never the problem for them. I don’t know who the bigger signing is top RB LeSean McCoy or head coach Rex Ryan. The Bills have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, except the one position you need to win in this league. The Bill will go with Tyrod Taylor to try to get this offense going. If nothing else they should be fun to watch.
  4. Jets - The best thing that may have happened to the Jets is have the starting QB Geno Smith get sucker punched. I think Ryan Fitzpatrick is a proven QB who can move the ball and win games. The Jets are not a bad football team. They may not even finish last. But if they do I’m sure they will be the best last place team.

WEST

  1. Broncos - Peyton Manning is once again being questioned if this is his last year and who knows. He will probably still throw for 30 TDs. WR Demaryius Thomas is a game changer and with some stability at RB in C.J. Anderson this will be another year with a high powered offense. The Broncos defense is getting better too. But the window is closing they need to win now.
  2. Chiefs - Finally Alex Smith gets a good NFL quality WR. Jeremy Maclin will be bringing the big play for the Chiefs. Travis Kelce and Jamaal Charles will also be big contributors to this offense. The Chiefs have such a stingy defense that they alone will be winning games for the team.
  3. Chargers - The Chargers have a good team but their record won’t show that. They added some pieces to the offense in Stevie Johnson and rookie RB Melvin Gordon. I don’t know if the defense will be able to stop teams in the fourth quarter. There will be a lot of close games. Hopefully they can get the ball to bounce their way.
  4. Raiders - Once again I hear ‘The Raiders are a year away!’. And now the new one is “This is the Raiders year!’ Year for what? To finish 3rd? I’m not convinced the Derek Carr is the savior yet. I think its still too early. They think they found their RB in Latavius Murray, but I again think it’s too early. I do believe they have gotten better on both sides of the ball, but in such a strong division I see another 4th place finish.

NFC:

NORTH

  1. Packers - They may have lost Jordy Nelson, one of the best WRs in the league, for the year but they still have a perennial MVP QB in Aaron Rodgers who can turn another WR in one of the best in the league. The defense will be a good compliment to this dominating offense.
  2. Vikings - The Vikings get Adrian Peterson back and with second year QB Teddy Bridgwater they should be surprising some teams by putting up some points this year. With their good defense they should be in games with a chance to win all year long.
  3. Lions - I feel it's time that this once high powered offense to take a step back. The Lions have a really good defense, but will the offense be able to score the points needed to win the games?
  4. Bears - All new coaches this year. Not a big fan of the head coach, but I love their offensive and defensive hires. But, the players are the still same and they are already battling injuries.

SOUTH

  1. Panthers - Very unfortunate how this team lost Kelvin Benjamin, their young star WR, and only competent WR some may say. Good news is the Panthers are in the same spot they were in as last season and they won the division. They have one of the leagues strongest defenses and Jonathan Stewart who, if healthy, can be a dominate top 10 back. In a weak division they can come out on top. But with a winning record?…Maybe not.
  2. Saints - With future Hall of Fame QB Brew Brees in his downward slide this offense will still put up points with their new and young offensive weapons. The only problem will be the defense may be on of the worst in the league.
  3. Buccaneers - This could be the new up and coming team in the NFL. I don’t think many people are aware of how good this defense is. Hopefully, they finally found their QB with the first pick in last years draft. With talented WRs and a resurgent running game this team could do damage. I just hope the offensive line will keep the rookie QB upright for most of the season.
  4. Falcons - With Matt Ryan and arguably the best WR in the league, Julio Jones, this team will still struggle during the season. Virtually no running game paired with one of the worst defenses in the league will make for a long season.

EAST

  1. Eagles - I am a big believer in this offense and I think they are going to pout up a ton of points. If Sam Bradford can stay healthy all year he could be in line for a MVP season. I also think the Eagles defense will be good enough to win this division.
  2. Cowboys - Tony Romo and Dez Bryant will be a deadly combination for defenses this year. Once the Cowboys figure out the RB situation this offense will roll. But I think this team will show its weakness with a defense the over achieved last year.
  3. Giants - This may be a sneaky team this year. Eli Manning is poised to have another great year and having Odell Beckham Jr for a full season will help with that. The Giants think they have reloaded on defense but I just don’t see it. They will contend all year but eventually miss the playoffs.
  4. Redskins - I mean the Washington Football Club. This team is a mess. There is no leadership from management with the owner and head coach already not seeing eye to eye. RG3 has basically been cut but still on the team. Kirk Cousins is probably overrated but the head coach apparently loves him. Oh, and the defense is garbage.  Good luck.

WEST

  1. Seahawks - They have Marshawn Lynch one of the best RBs in the league, they have Russell Wilson a QB that knows how to win football games, they just strengthened a weakness by getting Jimmy Graham a top TE that scores in the red zone, and oh yeah they still got that dominating defense.
  2. Cardinals - The Cardinals are a team that has been getting better every year. The defense is good enough to get to and advance in the playoffs. If Carson Palmer can stay healthy all year they should contend and maybe win the division.
  3. 49ers - This team is the biggest question mark in the entire league. Yes, they lost some star players, but they did get some back. Injuries decimated this team last year and they seem pretty healthy for now. And who know what these coaches are capable of. They could be the biggest surprises of the year.
  4. Rams - There is always hype about this team. Will this be the year? I'm guessing no. They traded talent for health at QB, which is a down grade in my opinion. There is still no one on the offense that will scare a defense, they are waiting for their rookie RB Todd Gurley to get healthy...but it's a rookie. But hey there is still that pretty good defense.

Playoffs

AFC Playoff Teams

  1. Colts - The Colts dominate a weak division and get a fast pass to the number one seed.
  2. Broncos - A hot start in the season is enough to lock up the second seed
  3. Patriots - There will be big wins mixed with head scratching loses. They will miss out on an extra week of rest.
  4. Steelers - A home playoff game is a good reward for winning a tough division.
  5. Dolphins - In any other division they may have gotten a home game. But the playoffs are where they want to be.
  6. Chiefs - The Chiefs get back in the playoffs and don’t want a repeat of two years ago.

NFC Playoff Teams

  1. Seahawks - The Seahawks are able to handle business and the home field advantage, which they know they will need.
  2. Eagles - With a tough win on the road in the season finale a much needed first round by bye.
  3. Packers - Another home playoff game is earned, but miss out on the second seed and a week off.
  4. Panthers - Sneaking into the playoffs with a 7-9 record is nothing to be proud of, but someone from that division needed to be here.
  5. Cardinals - Two years in a row making the playoffs, now healthy they want to do damage.
  6. Cowboys - Last game of the year the Cowboys lose the finale, but so do every other team fighting for the playoffs and they get in by the back door.

Wild Card Round

Chiefs @ Patriots - Even throughout the game an uncharacteristic turnover by Alex Smith stops a late drive to win the game. The Patriots move on.

Dolphins @ Steelers - The high flying Steelers prove to be too much for the young Dolphin team

Cowboys @ Packers - No controversy this time. The Packers win by double digits. Romo has two picks.

Cardinals @ Panthers - A healthy Cardinal teams shows up this time and beats up the Panthers. It’s not close...

Divisional Round

Patriots @ Broncos - The Broncos find a little more Mile High Magic and beat the Patriots at home again in the playoffs. Its the Broncos defense that seals the deal.

Steelers @ Colts - The Colts offense is too much for the Steelers defense in a high scoring game.

Packers @ Eagles - The Packers defense slows down the Eagles offense. Late in a close game there is a 4th & 26, but no Freddie Mitchell this time and the Packers close the game.

Cardinals @ Seahawks - The Cardinals came in not afraid of the 12th man and stop a late drive by the Seahawks to get the win.

Conference Championship

Broncos @ Colts - An emotional game for Peyton as talk of his impending retirement reach an all time high with him coming back to Indy. Andrew Luck is able to figure out the Broncos defense to get a comfortable lead in the second half. Peyton begins his comeback and gets within one score before he tries to fit a pass in a small window and gets picked off. Colts again advance one more round.

Cardinals @ Packers - The road warriors that are the Cardinals have done it all this post season. Travel across country, beat a team that doesn’t lose at home in the playoffs, but now the face an unfamiliar task. The frozen tundra. Packers led by Eddie Lacy dominate the game. The Packers defense, along with the cold, don’t let the Cardinals offense even get started. The Packers are back in the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 50

Packers vs Colts - It’s kinda fitting with the Super Bowl being in the Bay Area we have two QBs from Bay Area colleges. Aaron Rodgers (Cal Berkley) lead the Packers against Andrew Luck (Stanford) and the Colts. With precision passing, long runs, and big hits this is one of the most entertaining and memorable Super Bowls ever. I mean this is the Super Bowl no one will remember the halftime show. Back and forth they go with each teams defenses making timely stops. Frank Gore, coming back to the city where he made his career, breaks through up the middle for a TD run giving the Colts the lead with a little more than 2 minutes to go. Rodgers starts his 2 minute offense. With the ball inside the 20 yard line and needing a TD to win the game Rodgers (Cal Berkley) finds his rookie WR Ty Montgomery (Stanford) in the back of the end zone. The Packers win the Super Bowl.

The Packers are the fourth team to win five Super Bowls. Aaron Rodgers get the Super Bowl MVP. The Super Bowl fuels the rivalry between Stanford and Cal Berkley. They argue over which school has the Super Bowl hero, the guy that threw it or the guy that caught it.

Ok, that’s what I got. Let me know what you think. I know everyone has an opinion.
